We’re building something bold. Something immersive. Something that doesn’t just tell stories—but invites you to feel them, to live them, to understand queer lives from the inside out.

And it all begins at the dinner table.

Our first Encounter is a deeply personal, emotionally charged experience called The Dinner Table.” In it, you’ll step into the shoes of Alex, a 17-year-old nonbinary teen preparing to come out to their family at Thanksgiving.

This isn’t a cartoon. It’s not a lecture. It’s a fully interactive emotional simulation powered by AI, storytelling, and (if you want) AR. Every pause, every glance, every word you choose changes how your family responds. You’ll feel the tension. The hope. The heartbreak. The possibility. Because empathy doesn’t come from knowing what happened. It comes from seeing how it felt.

Why It Matters

We believe emotional learning can change everything. Studies from GLSEN and The Trevor Project show that LGBTQ+ youth who feel understood and supported have dramatically lower rates of depression, anxiety, and suicide.

This first Encounter is just the beginning. And the next one? We want that to come from you.

Help Shape the Next Encounter

We want to build Encounters that reflect the real challenges, joys, microaggressions, milestones, and victories of queer life. That means we want your voice, your vision, your experience.

What should our next Encounter be?

  • A locker room confrontation?
  • A tense visit to a doctor’s office?
  • A first kiss in a place you thought was safe—but wasn’t?

We’re calling on the queer community to help us choose the next story we build.

Submit your ideas to:
hello@queerreflection.com

The most powerful, moving, or surprising suggestion will be selected as our next official Encounter. You’ll be credited as the inspiration behind it—and help millions feel something they’ve never felt before.

Let’s Reflect Together
